
Gina Marie Bowden engages in a civil litigation practice emphasizing professional liability defense and insurance bad faith and coverage.
Ms. Bowden obtained a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998. In 2004, she acquired a Master's degree in criminal justice from California State University, Sacramento. Ms. Bowden earned her Juris Doctor in 2007 (with great distinction) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
While a student at McGeorge, Ms. Bowden was Chief Legislation Editor of the McGeorge Law Review and achieved membership in both the Traynor Honor Society and the Order of the Coif. She received the Witkin award for academic excellence in several subjects including professional responsibility, legal process, and mediation. Additionally, she completed internships with the Placer County District Attorney's office and McDonough Holland & Allen PC. Ms. Bowden joined Hansen, Culhane, Kohls, Jones & Sommer, LLP as an associate attorney in January 2008.
Ms. Bowden is a member of the State Bar of California, the Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Placer County Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court of Eastern California.
